First, as your BHA team, we’ve initiated an action plan to improve communication between all homeowners and community members. Our outreach plan includes the following:
1. We’re creating a welcome/information packet for every homeowner, which includes all pertinent information regarding homeownership in Benington
2. We will post this same information on our BHA website, http://beningtonbugle.com
3. We’ve establish Block Chairpersons for every section within our neighborhood. Each is ultimately responsible for ensuring every homeowner in their respective section is equipped with an info packet and is aware of how receive other important communications.
BHA will provide options for emailed, faxed, mailed or hand delivered communications, and each Block Chairperson is responsible for effectively and conveniently communicating via preferred methods to his/her respective homeowners. You can easily find your Block Chairperson by viewing the attached 2010 BHA Team Contact Sheet. I personally welcome and thank each Chairperson for their ongoing contributions.
Next, we have established a Beautification Committee, led by Kevin Mischler & Emily Thompson. They will provide the community with tips on how we can all best maintain our properties, specific to curb appeal. This team will also create and maintain a Yard-of-the-Month recognition program to encourage and reward our community neighbors that continually take pride in the appearance of their properties.
It is our goal that all community members understand any policies created and that any questions or concerns be readily answered, and so we’ve installed a Restrictions Committee, headed by Allison Oran and Amanda Gillen who will be available to address any questions or concerns you might have regarding BHA code and enforcement.
Greg Luepke, your Vice President has played an active role in the BHA for several years. Greg has added a tremendous amount of value and is committed to his role for this term. He currently manages the significant responsibility of our community entrances and grounds. This duty is crucial to the constant flow of life here at Benington and we’re grateful for Greg’s commitment to its operation. Greg is also available to assist Allison and Amanda with code questions, general complaints and other neighborhood concerns.
Ryan & Dawn Childress have done a fantastic job with the BHA membership management in the past, and I am happy to announce they have additionally accepted the responsibility of Treasurer.
